Fantastic animal-shaped vessel: long thin neck ending in a triangular, slightly flattened head; eyes marked with depressions; oblong flat ears. Geometric decoration covers the entire surface: at the widest point a band of zigzag filled with a checkered pattern; herringbone stripes radiate at right angles at front and back; beneath these are wavy stripes of paint; series of thin lines on the neck; a hole in the front under the neck. Cypriot pottery, 1900–1600 BC Late Bronze Age II, Cyprus. Vessel. Height 10.7 cm, width 12.5 cm, depth 6.8 cm., A rounded ceramic vessel with a short spout and three small rounded feet sits against a neutral gray background; the vessel shows a weathered beige and light tan base color with reddish-brown painted geometric patterns including zigzag and linear motifs and a few darker brown accent marks, and the spout is lighter beige with darker horizontal banding.
