Female idol, unknown Mycenaean workshop, provenance: Königsberg; Frombork Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship — votive offering, female figurine. Female idol in the shape of the letter phi: legs form a cylindrical base widening downward skirt?, arms and torso enclosed in a circle, breasts schematically marked, long cylindrical neck, flat head. Folds of garments, facial features, and eyes simplified using brown paint or varnish; painted surface worn in places. Date: 1400–1200 BC previous dating: 1600–1100 BC. Origin: Mycenae, Greece. Typology: figurine, votive offering. Dimensions: height 12.7 cm; width 4.6 cm; depth 2.8 cm; weight 0.05 kg., A roughly shaped upright clay figure with an elongated neck and flared base, showing a rounded upper body with subtle raised forms where breasts would be, and a narrow tapering lower torso; the surface is textured and worn with patches of reddish-brown paint forming diagonal banding across the upper body and scattered mottled areas elsewhere, and the underlying clay appears light tan to beige with darker brown discolorations; the background is a smooth mid-gray.
