Naos stele with a female figure, small naos-shaped stele slightly tapered at the top and triangular, flat engraving marking the naos design; a female figure schematically represented inside. Stele, height 12 cm, width 6.5 cm., 664–30 BC Late Period–Ptolemaic Period. Found at Tell Atrib., A roughly triangular stone relief fragment in shades of beige, tan, and light brown with darker gray and black spotting stands upright on a translucent base; the carved surface shows a recessed rectangular niche containing a simplified human figure with a rounded head, blocky torso, and long narrow legs, all carved in the same stone color, while the surrounding stone has irregular discoloration, weathering marks, and a crack crossing horizontally; the background behind the object is a uniform medium gray.
