Horned altar serving as a censer, ceremonial vessel/altar. Square base, cylindrical shaft with lightly profiled Doric base and capital, topped with vertical walls with a single rectangular cutout on each side. Ptolemaic Period, 332–30 BC. Found at Tell Atrib. Height 14.5 cm, width 8 cm, weight 0.454 kg., A weathered vertical stone object stands against a plain gray background, showing a rough, cracked surface with a range of earthy colors including reddish-brown, tan, beige, and patches of off-white. The object has a broader base that narrows into a column-like middle and then flares slightly toward the top, with irregular edges and a chipped, uneven top area. Surface texture varies from smooth worn sections to rough crumbly and fractured areas, with visible fissures and pitted spots. Shadows and subtle highlights reveal contours and depth, and traces of lighter residue appear in a few places on the lower portion.
