Scarab with a silhouette of a ruler on a throne. The scarab has on its base a representation of a royal figure sitting on a throne, with a scepter and a whip in its hands, possibly Osiris, and a second, smaller standing figure. ca. 1550–1295 BCE; New Kingdom, 18th Dynasty, Egypt. Scarab amulet; height 3.1 cm, width 2.2 cm., An oval carved object with a weathered, beige surface showing darker brown and black areas, depicting a raised relief of two stylized human-like figures surrounded by carved lines and recessed shapes; the background is a uniform light gray.
