Fragment of a figurine. Oval male face with a protruding chin, small mouth, straight nose, and almond-shaped eyes. Small, protruding ears; forehead receding backward. Unfinished at the back. Ptolemaic Period, 332–30 BC, Egypt. Figurine; height 5.9 cm, width 4.5 cm, depth 2.5 cm., A roughly oval, irregularly shaped object with a textured, rough surface in shades of off-white, beige, tan, and brown, showing patchy discoloration and darker brown speckling; a flattened, smoother ridge of pale cream runs across the upper area; there is a small area of muted green on one side and a few areas of deeper brown staining; the object casts a soft shadow on a plain medium-gray background.
