Ushabti. Mummy-shaped funerary figurine, standing on a base, supported at the back by a flat pilaster. Arms crossed on the chest, the right folded over the left. In the left hand a pickaxe, in the right a hoe and a twisted string on which a basket is slung over the left shoulder. Engraved tools. On the head a long, smooth, tripartite wig. Oval face with slightly blurred facial details. Long, straight, slightly damaged beard. Not inscribed. Shabti. Ptolemaic Period, 332–30 BC. From Tuna el-Gebel Hermopolis. Height 10.6 cm; width 3.2 cm., A small turquoise and teal-blue glazed figurine with greenish and pale beige weathered areas, showing a standing human-like form with a head covering and arms crossed over the chest, mounted on a rectangular tan-brown wooden block against a plain gray background.
