Ushabti, A shabti figurine dressed in a shroud stands on a base. On the head is a smooth wig, falling in two strands on the chest. The false beard is smooth and straight. In his hands, crossed on the chest and protruding from under the shroud, he holds hoes in the shape of the letter A. 664–332 BC; Late Period 27–30th Dynasty, Egypt. Ushabti; height 11.8 cm, width 2.8 cm., A vertical carved figure mounted on a tan rectangular base and supported by a tan vertical backboard, the figure is elongated and stylized with a rounded head, prominent nose and chin, and a suggestion of an arm and hand against the torso; the surface shows a weathered, pitted texture with patches of dark reddish-brown, deep brown, and areas of lighter brown and beige, as well as some muted greenish spots, and thin clear wires looped around the figure to hold it to the support.
