Ushabti. Funerary mummy-shaped figurine, arms crossed on the chest, no tools. On the head is a smooth tripartite wig. Very large eyes, a wide nose, a slightly twisted mouth. Inscription illegible. Ca. 1295–1069 BC; New Kingdom, 19th–20th Dynasty, Egypt. Ushabti; height 20 cm, width 6 cm., A tall, elongated reddish-brown clay figure shown in profile against a neutral gray background, with a rounded top and a curved, bulbous lower end, a few worn facial features and a suggestion of arms folded across the chest, a rough, pitted surface texture with visible cracks and darker spots, and overall earthy red and brown tones with some subtle lighter and darker variations.
