Cake baking mold so-called flower pot for baking bread with a conical shape and a flat bottom. Irregular shape with a straight, flaring spout and an irregular bottom. Wheel-made from Nile clay of type NB2 Vienna System. Surface level; outer part near the bottom and the bottom finished with a knife or similar tool. Hole in the bottom ~6 cm diameter made before firing. Yellowish-red color. Very well preserved. Rim diameter 22.3–25.2 cm; bottom diameter 10.2–11 cm; height 17.4 cm. c. 1550–c. 1069 BC, New Kingdom, Deir el-Medina., A terracotta-colored clay pot with a flared rim sits against a smooth gray background; the pot shows a natural matte texture with areas of lighter and darker orange-brown, some small blemishes and smudges, and a rougher, slightly darker base, while the scene includes shades of gray in the backdrop and surface.
