Vessel, Egyptian pottery, ceramics, clay vessel. Conical-shaped vessel, widest at approximately 3/4 of its height. Quite wide, almost horizontal shoulders - slightly sloping. Wide, short, funnel-shaped neck, widening towards the spout. Wide spout, flat in the upper part, slightly rounded at the bottom, slightly asymmetrical. Flat, asymmetrical bottom. Surface leveled. Lower part finished to approximately 2/3 of its height with a knife or similar tool. Outer surface and inner surface of the rim and neck covered with a layer of dark red engobe. Vessel color dark red. Vessel complete; surface eroded in many places, numerous clay chips on the rim. Ca. 2686–ca. 2181 BC; Old Kingdom, Edfu, vessel; height 16 cm, diameter 8.6 cm rim, diameter 10.7 cm body, diameter 4.5 cm bottom., A single terracotta vessel fills the frame, showing a wide flared rim leading to a short neck and a rounded shoulder that tapers into a conical body; the surface is rough with a weathered texture and scattered darker speckles, and the visible colors are reddish-brown with flecks of darker brown and hints of pale beige, set against a plain neutral gray background.
