Bowl, large stone bowl with a small flat bottom, slightly flared side walls at the top bent inwards and a straight rim, ca. 2686–2181 BC, Old Kingdom, found at Abu Rawash, vessel, height 14 cm, width 23 cm, weight 1.35 kg, A smooth, rounded bowl with a matte surface sits against a plain background; the bowl shows a marbled pattern of pale cream and yellow tones with subtle banding and faint veins, and there are areas of slightly darker yellow and off-white creating irregular shapes across its curved exterior, while the background and surface beneath the bowl appear in muted gray and taupe shades.
