Male statue, Genius Mieczyslaw 1853–1920. Egyptian sculpture, Old Kingdom, 6th Dynasty, c. 2345–c. 2181 BC. Grave equipment: slender torso, flat at hip level; thick, short neck; round head; almond-shaped eyes with marked irises; broad nose; thick mouth; left arm extended downwards with hand clenched into a fist; wigs. Sculpture, height 56 cm, width 18 cm, depth 10.5 cm., A carved wooden torso and head of a human figure displayed against a light gray background, the wood showing a weathered, cracked surface with a range of brown tones from light to dark and hints of reddish brown; the head has short carved hair and a neutral facial expression, the shoulders and upper chest are visible with texture and cracks, and one intact arm extends downward at the side with a rounded hand, the other shoulder area is truncated.
