Fragment of a block with a high relief representation of an offering table and objects intended for sacrifice. ca. 2445–2421 BC; Old Kingdom, 5th Dynasty Nyuserre's reign, Abusir. Bas-relief; height 26 cm, width 53 cm, depth 10 cm, weight 21 kg., A roughly rectangular stone slab with an irregular, chipped edge displays shallow carved reliefs across its surface; the stone is primarily off-white and light beige with patches of pale gray and small areas of muted reddish-brown and faint greenish discoloration. The carved scenes include rounded and angular shapes suggesting vessels and a curved object resting on a horizontal support, with flanking column-like forms and a standing human-like figure on one side; the surface shows tool marks, weathering, and pitted rough areas, and the background is a neutral gray.
