Vessel with wavy handles. Vessel with an elongated belly that widens towards the top. Short, cylindrical neck. Rounded, upturned rim. At approx. 2/3 of the height two residual vices are preserved, resembling an attached roller with a wavy profile. The vices are placed asymmetrically. Flat bottom. Surface even. Scratch marks visible in the upper part of the vessel. Clay color: light red. Egyptian ceramics; vessel for oils and ointments. c. 3500–3050 BC; Predynastic Period, Naqada II/III Naqada phase IId2–IIIa1. Abusir el-Melek findspot. Height 20.2 cm; width 13.3 cm; weight 0.708 kg., inscription/repository notes indicate repossession Bytom., A large terracotta-colored clay jar with a rounded rim and a tapered body standing against a neutral gray background; the surface shows a rough, slightly pitted texture with small pale speckles and subtle variations in brown and orange tones, and there are small protrusions on the sides near the shoulder.
