Ushabti, mummy-shaped figurine, funerary gift, hoes. Mummy-shaped figurine standing on a base, supported by a pillar at the back. Arms crossed on the chest with only the hands protruding from under the shroud, placed at the same level, close together, holding hoes in both hands. A basket is slung on a single string over the left shoulder on the back. Engraved tools. Three-part wig styled in narrow strands. Long, tapering beard curled at the bottom and braided. Square face with almond-shaped eyes, pronounced eyebrows, wide nose, and prominent lips in a slight grimace. Engraved inscription arranged in six lines around the figurine text illegible. 664–332 BC, Late Period, Egypt. Shabti; height 15.5 cm., A small, worn rectangular object with rounded corners floats against a plain gray background; its surface shows mottled shades of brown and green with patches of lighter beige and a few small darker spots, and there is a hint of a reddish marking on one side.
