The god wears a himation draped like a shawl over his shoulders, the ends falling down the sides, and a hairstyle with curls held above his forehead. Hermes strides on an altar; his legs are depicted in relief against its background. In his bent left hand he holds a caduceus. The whole is set on a small rectangular base. Greek, Hermes mythology.
