Copy of a Babylonian kudurru from the period of Marduk-naddin-ahhe 11th century BC, Ancient East, kudurru copy, Kassite Kingdom 1595–1158 BC, Eastern Gallic scenography, Babylonia Iraq applies to the original, 19th century, copy, weight 5.44 kg, A tall oval stone object with a rough, light beige surface mounted on a dark black rounded stand; the stone shows incised linear patterns and shallow relief carvings concentrated toward the upper portion while the lower portion displays dense, fine incisions covering much of its face; the top area includes carved architectural and figurative shapes in low relief with worn edges, and the stone has areas of discoloration in slightly darker beige and pale gray; the stand is glossy black with rounded tiers and visible wear marks, and the background is a uniform medium gray.
