Amulet - Udjat Eye. Udjat eye designed as a flat plaque with details of the eye marked with a fairly wide engraved line. Eyebrow and pupil painted black. A pin placed above the eyebrow. Ca. 747–656 BC; 25th Dynasty, Egypt. Amulet; height 5.5 cm, width 7 cm, depth 1 cm., An object shaped like a stylized eye with a curved lower extension, made of a pale material with areas of light green and beige, and darker gray along the top edge; a rounded darkened central element sits within the eye opening, surrounded by lighter beige and green surfaces; there are a few worn and rough spots, a small hole near the top right edge, and a circular blue-green decorative mark on the lower curved portion; the piece shows signs of age with cracks and surface discoloration in colors including beige, light green, gray, dark brown, and blue-green.
