Oil lamp, Horse iconography. Lamp pressed from a mold. Light red clay with brownish-red engobe. Almond-shaped container. Ring-shaped, slightly concave base with a mold mark of two notches letter lambda or simplified alpha. A single groove runs from the base towards the vise. Solid vise. Arms decorated with a simplified winding vine s-scroll motif. Slightly concave disc with two olive holes, decorated with a depiction of a horse galloping left. Medium-length burner with an oval end and a round wick hole. No traces of use. 4th–5th century, Tunisia place of origin. Oil lamp; height 10.7 cm, width 6.9 cm., A roughly symmetrical, rounded object with a central raised ridge and a vertical protrusion, shown against a flat gray background. The surface appears textured and worn, with a coarse, sandy look. Visible colors include terracotta, muted brown, pale beige, and hints of dusty orange, with lighter worn areas and slightly darker recessed lines. The shape suggests layered contours and soft curves, with areas of shadow and subtle highlights emphasizing the textured surface.
