Oil lamp, Horse iconography. Lamp pressed from a mold. Light red clay with brownish-red engobe. Almond-shaped reservoir. Ring-shaped, slightly concave base with a mold mark of two notches letter lambda or simplified alpha. Single groove runs from the base toward the nozzle. Solid nozzle. Handles decorated with a simplified winding vine s-scroll motif. Slightly concave discus with two olive holes, decorated with a depiction of a horse galloping left. Medium-length burner with an oval end and a round wick hole. No traces of use. 4th–5th century, Tunisia. Oil lamp; height 10.7 cm, width 6.9 cm., A single irregularly shaped object with a textured, rough surface in shades of reddish-brown, terracotta, and hints of pale beige set against a flat gray background; the object has a rounded elongated body with a raised, curved ridge on one side and a taller, sculpted protrusion at one end, showing variations in surface texture and subtle areas of lighter and darker coloration.
