Amulet in the shape of a ram standing on a stand with curled horns and a short beard; the fur around the head is marked with simple engraved lines. Amulet; height 2.5 cm, width 4 cm, depth 1.1 cm. Late Period, Egypt, 664–332 BC., A small sculpted animal figure in shades of pale green and yellow with areas of darker greenish speckling, showing a rounded body, a mane suggested by incised vertical lines, a head with a short snout and small rounded ears, and a tongue or curved projection at the mouth; it stands on a rectangular base that is similarly colored with patches of darker brown and small traces of red along the lower edge, and the surface shows weathered texture and small pits.
