Amulet in the shape of a lion lying on a flat base, with paws stretched forward, head facing straight ahead, and a loop for hanging on its back. The ribs and mane are schematically marked with diagonal engraved lines. Amulet; material unspecified. Height 2.6 cm, width 5.2 cm. Late Period, Egypt, 664–332 BC., A small sculpted animal figure shown in profile, lying atop a rectangular base with a rounded body, pronounced mane, and a circular hole through its upper back; the surface shows a worn, slightly pitted texture with areas of discoloration and small chips. The visible colors include pale green, muted beige, light brown, and hints of darker brown in worn spots, with a small area of reddish-brown on the base.
