Amulet in the shape of a lion lying on a flat base, with paws stretched forward, head facing straight ahead, and a loop for hanging on its back. The ribs and mane are schematically marked with diagonal engraved lines. Amulet; material unspecified. Late Period, Egypt, 664–332 BC. Height 2.6 cm; width 5.2 cm., A small sculpted figure of a reclining animal on a rectangular base, showing a rounded body, a pronounced head with a textured mane, front legs extended forward, and a curled tail area with a hole through the back; the surface appears worn with patches of darker discoloration and rough spots, and the predominant color is a pale green with areas of brown and tan weathering set against a neutral gray background.
