Queen Maatkare's shabti, Divine Wife of Amun, cartouches, hieroglyphs, uraeus iconographic, Maatkare ca. 1069–945 BC, wigs, funerary figurine, grave goods, mummy-shaped figurine. Arms crossed on the chest, right folded over left, hoes in each hand. On the back is a basket slung on strings over both shoulders. Facial details, wig, and tools painted in a dark color. Three-part smooth wig with a uraeus above the forehead. Bracelets on the wrists. Painted inscription on the front of the legs in one wide column framed with lines reading: Shd Osiris, the wife of the god, the lord of both lands, Maat-ka-re. Third Intermediate Period, 21st Dynasty, Egypt. Shabti, height 12 cm, width 4.4 cm., A small elongated figurine shown against a solid gray background with a rounded top and a tapering lower section, predominantly bright turquoise blue with speckled darker blue and tiny brownish spots, a darker almost black area covering the rounded top and upper back, a pair of short stubby projections at the mid-sides, and faint darker linear markings on the upper torso area.
