Pin, unknown Luristan workshop. A long pin terminating in a head in the form of an oval shield with geometric decoration. The shaft, circular in cross-section, thickens and widens rhomboidally at the top to form a connector to the shield, which is decorated on one side with punching and engraving. Ornamentation on the shield is arranged concentrically: central round knob with two intersecting engraved bands filled with fine dots; three convex concentric stripes central stripe incised; interwoven braids with dotted interiors in the spaces between stripes; a row of larger dots between the first stripe and the boss; the edge band decorated with a single row of convex dots. The decorative sequence is interrupted at the lower part of the shield where it connects to the pin: on a short section of the edge band the convex dots are replaced by dots, and diagonal incisions appear on the third strip.
