Figurine of the god Ptah; unknown creator; restitution provenance; Ptah mythology; Egyptian deity; ankh and wa's scepter iconography; beard; Egyptian art; Late Period, 664–332 BC; figurine; height 14.7 cm, width 4 cm, depth 3 cm, weight 0.272 kg., A slender vertical metal figure with a textured, rough surface in shades of dark brown, greenish patina, and hints of black, shown in profile standing on a small rectangular base; the head is rounded with a defined nose and chin, a long textured beard extends along the chest, and the body tapers down to feet that rest flat on the base; the figure wears a long, close-fitting garment with surface irregularities and a few areas of lighter green and brown sheen, and there is a visible hollow or gap near the midsection.
