Large, wide-open, convex eyes; large, straight nose; narrow mouth with wide, slightly curled, as if pouting lips. The face with a strong chin alludes to classical traditions. 4th century BC, Central Italy, votive offering. Height 27.3 cm, width 20.5 cm, depth 18.5 cm, weight 3.5 kg., The image shows the back of a rounded, textured object resembling a head or bulbous form, with a rough, porous surface in tan and beige tones with small darker speckles and a few lighter flecks; the base narrows into a neck-like section that sits on a translucent, slightly reflective support, and the background is a uniform gray.
