Amulet — god Bes; maker, Bes myth.; Egyptian deity; Late Period, 664–332 BC, Egypt; amulet; height 7.2 cm, width 3.2 cm., A small carved figure in shades of turquoise and aqua with areas of darker blue and green and patches of brown and tan discoloration, showing a humanoid shape with a flared crown-like top, rounded shoulders with holes at each side, a simplified squared head, a torso narrowing at the waist, and stylized legs with open cutouts; surface appears worn and pitted with mottled spots and weathered texture against a plain light gray background.
