Amulet - Ptah-dwarf Pataikos, Ptah-dwarf mythology. Figurine of a naked dwarf man with a large head with a wide forehead, short arms with clenched fists pressed to the hips, and short legs broken off at the knees. Careful modelling. 7th–4th century BC; Late Period, Egypt. Figurine, amulet. Height 6.5 cm; width 3.7 cm; depth 2.6 cm., A small sculpted figure viewed in profile against a plain gray background, showing a stylized human form with a rounded head, pronounced forehead, and a short neck with a circular loop at the back. The figure has a compact torso, rounded shoulders, a slightly protruding chest, and short arms with simplified hands resting near the hips. The lower body features full hips and sturdy legs with rounded knees and feet. The surface appears weathered with mottled tones of brown and greenish-blue patina, with some areas darker brown and others showing lighter greenish corrosion. The overall texture looks rough and aged.
