Udja-hera shabti, Udja-hera ca. 380–343 BC. Mummy-shaped funerary figurine shabti, Late Period, 30th Dynasty, Egypt. Height 15.5 cm; width 3.9 cm. Standing on a base, back supported by a pillar. Arms crossed on the chest, right folded over left; elbows and shoulders subtly modeled. Holds hoes in each hand with slightly curled handles. Right hand holds a twisted rope from which a basket is slung over the left shoulder; convex tools and engraved basket. Long three-part wig combed into narrow strands with main strands ending in borders. Long, slightly tapering curled beard; large ears; proportionate, carefully crafted facial details with a slight smile. Inscription engraved in three columns separated by lines on the front of the figurine's legs. Mentions wigs, hieroglyphs, hoes, beards, Book of the Dead, funerary figurines, grave goods., A turquoise-blue elongated figurine fragment showing the lower half of a standing human form with a few carved vertical grooves and a column of raised carved shapes along the front of the leg, a visible knee and foot resting on a small rectangular base, a few small areas of lighter and darker blue patina and minor surface roughness, and a neutral gray background.
