Udja-hera shabti, Udja-hera ca. 380–343 BC. Mummy-shaped funerary figurine shabti from Egypt, Late Period, 30th Dynasty. Height 15.5 cm, width 3.9 cm. Standing on a base with back supported by a pillar. Arms crossed on the chest, right folded over left, elbows and shoulders subtly marked. Holds hoes in each hand; handles slightly curled. Right hand also holds a twisted rope from which a basket is slung over the left shoulder; convex tools and engraved basket. Wears a long three-part wig combed into narrow strands ending in borders; long slightly tapering curled beard; large ears; proportionate, carefully crafted facial features with a slight smile. Inscription engraved in three columns separated by lines on the front of the figurine's legs. Associated motifs: wigs, hieroglyphs, hoes, beards, Book of the Dead, grave goods; function as funerary figurine/Mummy-shaped figurine. Provenance: purchase., A turquoise-blue statuette of a standing human figure with a long wig and a small beard, arms crossed over the chest holding small objects, mounted on a rectangular base, with a smooth gray background and visible darker and lighter variations of turquoise and bluish-green on the figure.
