Udja-hera shabti, Udja-hera ca. 380–343 BC. Mummy-shaped funerary figurine shabti, Late Period, 30th Dynasty, Egypt. Standing on a base with back supported by a pillar; arms crossed on the chest right over left with elbows and shoulders subtly marked. Holds hoes in each hand with slightly curled handles; right hand holds a twisted rope from which a basket is slung over the left shoulder. Convex tools and engraved basket. Long three-part wig combed into narrow strands ending in borders; long slightly tapering curled beard; large ears; proportionate, carefully crafted facial details with a slight smile. Inscription engraved and arranged in three columns separated by lines on the front of the figurine's legs. Height 15.5 cm; width 3.9 cm., A weathered turquoise-green figurine stands upright on a rectangular wooden base, showing a stylized human form with a rounded head and elongated body; the surface has areas of lighter green and pale beige discoloration, small pits and abrasions, and subtle carved vertical lines on the upper back and along the sides, with a pair of small circular insets near the upper middle; the wooden base is a warm brown with visible grain and a slightly rough texture, and the background is a flat medium gray.
