Date: 332–30 BC, Ptolemaic Period, Egypt., A carved wooden head with a worn, light brown upper section and a pale, weathered lower face; the face shows painted dark eyes and dark eyebrow shapes, with visible cracks and grain lines across the wood; a narrow band of faint, muted color sits between the upper and lower sections; the upper wooden portion is rough, textured, and darker brown with knots and holes; the background is a uniform gray.
