Sarcophagus mask with fragment of a high wig above the forehead, decorated on the edge of the forehead with a chain motif with details painted in black and red. The face is painted light cream; the large eyes and eyebrows are highlighted with black paint. Overall height 31 cm, width 17 cm, depth 9 cm., A carved wooden head with a large blocky top section showing natural wood grain and knots in brown tones, attached to a painted lower face area in pale off-white with visible cracks; the face has dark painted eyes and arched eyebrows in black, a subtle nose and mouth carved into the pale surface, and a narrow chin area where the wood is exposed in brown; a thin band of faded paint in red and green separates the wooden top from the painted face, all set against a neutral gray background.
