Medum-type bowl, small Medum-type bowl with characteristic carination under the rim. Rounded bottom. Arched walls, gently breaking towards the center of the vessel around 2/3 of its height. Straight, perpendicular rim. Narrow, sloping shoulders. The diameter of the rim is significantly smaller than the diameter of the vessel's arms. Clay probably NB2. Surface leveled and covered with a layer of engobe, then polished. Vessel color: red. c. 2686–c. 2181 BC; Old Kingdom, Edfu. Vessel; height 4.5 cm, diameter 11 cm rim, diameter 11.6 cm arms., A rounded, shallow ceramic bowl occupies the center of the image against a plain light gray background; the bowl is primarily reddish-brown with patches of darker brown and muted orange, and it shows a weathered, slightly rough surface texture with small pits and irregular marks, a rounded lip with a subtle ridge near the rim, and some areas of lighter beige and grayish discoloration scattered across the exterior.
