Medum-type bowl, A small Medum-type bowl with characteristic carination under the rim. Rounded bottom. Arched walls, gently breaking towards the center of the vessel around 2/3 of its height. Straight, perpendicular rim. Narrow, sloping shoulders. The diameter of the rim is significantly smaller than the diameter of the vessel's arms. Clay probably NB2. Surface leveled and covered with a layer of engobe, then polished. Vessel color: red. c. 2686–c. 2181 BC; Old Kingdom, Edfu. Vessel; height 4.5 cm, diameter 11 cm rim, diameter 11.6 cm arms., A rounded clay bowl shown from the side with a curved rim and a gently bulging body, displaying a textured surface with small pits and scratches; the bowl is primarily reddish-brown with variations of darker brown and subtle grayish patches, and the background is a uniform light gray.
