Medum-type bowl, A small Medum-type bowl with characteristic carination under the rim. Rounded bottom. Arched walls, gently breaking towards the center of the vessel around 2/3 of its height. Straight, perpendicular rim. Narrow, sloping shoulders. The diameter of the rim is significantly smaller than the diameter of the vessel's arms. Clay probably NB2. The vessel's surface is leveled and covered with a layer of engobe, and then polished. Vessel color: red. c. 2686–c. 2181 BC; Old Kingdom, Edfu. Vessel; height 4.5 cm, diameter 11 cm rim, diameter 11.6 cm arms., A rounded, shallow bowl shown from the side with a curved rim and smooth, slightly textured surface in shades of reddish-brown and terracotta, with visible small dark specks and lighter worn patches; the background is a uniform light gray.
