Neferhotep's Funeral Cone, Neferhotep ca. 1323–1295 BC. Funerary cone with hieroglyphs; text on the base enclosed in a circular field surrounded by a narrow, convex cylinder. New Kingdom, 18th Dynasty, ca. 1550–1295 BC. Height 8 cm, width 27.5 cm, weight 1.01 kg., A group of three cylindrical clay objects lie on a light gray surface, each showing a carved circular end. The left object is long and tapered with a rough beige and brown surface and a carved circular end featuring raised shapes and a small rectangular patch of darker beige; the center object is shorter and rounded with a sandy brown texture and a carved circular face filled with linear and rectangular impressions; the right object is medium length with a greenish-brown patina and a carved circular end that includes curved and vertical motifs and slightly darker and lighter green and brown areas.
