Basa's funeral cone, maker, Basa ca. 664–610 BC. Cone-shaped funerary cone with hieroglyphic inscription on the base in two vertical columns. On either side a kneeling figure facing the inscription, kneeling on the neb sign with hands raised in prayer. Above the inscription is a representation of a solar barque boat and a solar disc. Late Period, 26th Dynasty reign of Psammetich I, ca. 664–610 BC. From Western Thebes tomb 389 on Asasif. Height 9 cm; width 23 cm; weight 1.072 kg. Davies-Macadam, Corpus No. 602., A group of three cylindrical stone objects lie on a pale gray surface against a light gray background, each showing a round carved end with raised designs. The left cylinder is elongated and tan with rough brown and beige textures and a circular carved face that includes concentric rings and raised motifs; it casts a soft shadow to its right. The middle cylinder is shorter and squat, colored warm brown and sandy beige with a worn circular end carved with linear raised patterns and a mottled surface. The right cylinder is medium length with reddish-brown and muted greenish-gray tones and a circular carved end featuring curved raised elements and vertical motifs; its surface shows chips and uneven weathering. Overall the scene shows earthy tan, brown, beige, reddish, and gray colors with textured, weathered stone surfaces.
