Sekhmet figurine, lion-headed goddess shown standing or walking with a lioness head in a tripartite wig topped by a solar disk with a uraeus. Right arm hangs at her side, clenched into a fist revealing a hole from a lost cult object; left arm broken at the elbow. Figurine broken at the knuckles and mounted on a modern cylindrical wooden base with contoured edge. 664–525 BC, Late Period, 26th Dynasty, Egypt; terracotta? material not specified; height 9.7 cm., A small metallic statuette depicting a standing anthropomorphic figure with an animal-like head and elongated ear-like elements on top, mounted on a round dark pedestal; the figure has a slender elongated torso, visible arms at its sides, and textured surface with worn highlights. The visible colors are dark bronze with greenish-brown patina on the figure and deep black on the pedestal, set against a pale gray to white gradient background.
