Vessel, Egyptian pottery ceramic clay vessel, c. 1650–c. 1550 BC Second Intermediate Period, from Edfu; vessel height 7.4 cm, rim diameter 5.5 cm, belly diameter 8.2 cm., A single clay vessel with a wide, flared rim and a tapered, angular body is centered against a plain gray background; the surface of the vessel shows a weathered, rough texture with small pits and irregularities and its colors include reddish-brown, terracotta, muted orange, and a few darker brown patches.
