Bowl base. Base for a vessel with an almost equal diameter of both rims; both rims are irregular with a wavy line. The center of the base is empty. The narrowest part of the base is approximately 2/3 of the height of the entire vessel. Vessel made of Nile clay NB1. Surface leveled and covered with an engobe, then polished. Vessel color: red. Complete vessel, very well preserved. c. 2494–c. 2181 BC; Old Kingdom, 5th–6th Dynasty, Edfu. Vessel; top diameter 17.5 cm, bottom diameter 18 cm, height 25.6 cm, weight 1.30 kg., A top-down view of a round terracotta object with a central dark hole, showing a smooth funnel-like interior and rim with some surface speckles and small imperfections, set against a smooth gray background; the visible colors are reddish-brown, dark brown to black in the center, and gray.
