Bowl base. Base for a vessel with an almost equal diameter of both rims; both rims are irregular with a wavy line. The center of the base is empty. The narrowest part of the base is approximately 2/3 of the height of the entire vessel. Vessel made of Nile clay NB1. The surface is leveled and covered with an engobe, then polished. Vessel color: red. Complete vessel, very well preserved. c. 2494–c. 2181 BC; Old Kingdom, 5th–6th Dynasty, Edfu; vessel. Dimensions: diameter top 17.5 cm, diameter bottom 18 cm, height 25.6 cm; weight 1.30 kg., A terracotta-colored object with a flared circular base that tapers into a narrow neck and opens into a wide, shallow dish at the top, set against a solid gray background.
