Bowl base, Base for a vessel with an almost equal diameter of both rims; both rims are irregular with a wavy line. The center of the base is empty. The narrowest part of the base is approximately 2/3 of the height of the entire vessel. Made of Nile clay NB1; surface leveled, covered with an engobe, then polished. Vessel color red. Complete vessel, very well preserved. c. 2494–c. 2181 BC; Old Kingdom, 5th–6th Dynasty, Edfu. Vessel; top diameter 17.5 cm, bottom diameter 18 cm, height 25.6 cm, weight 1.30 kg., A single terracotta-colored ceramic object with a flared base that tapers into a narrow stem and widens again into a flat, slightly convex top, set against a smooth gray background; the surface shows subtle texture variations and small imperfections in shades of reddish-brown and muted orange, with faint darker spots and lighter worn areas.
