Fragment of a Sinopean amphora vice with a rectangular stamped impression inscription reversed, read right to left preserving the name of the Sinopean manufacturer Sagaris with patronymic; an emblem in the form of a leaf originally stood at the left of the stamp. Hellenistic period, ca. 320–300 BC. Found at Myrmekion Crimea. Stamp; height 8 cm. Made in Sinope. Maker attributed: Sagaris son of Numenius., A broken terracotta fragment rests on a flat surface against a neutral gray background, showing rough, porous edges and smoother inner surfaces. The piece is primarily a warm orange-brown color with darker speckles scattered across its surface and a few areas of lighter, beige-toned roughness where the ceramic is fractured. A small patch of fabric-like material is attached to the smoother face, displaying a mix of off-white and darker threads. Shadows beneath the fragment are muted gray, and there is a small round dark spot visible on one side of the piece.
