Fragment of a stamped amphora vice, Agathon II ca. 250–205 BC. Fragment of a Sinopean amphora vice with a partially preserved rectangular stamp. The stamp is oval in cross-section, flattened, located on the bend of the vice. Originally a four-line stamp: the first line of the legend is not impressed; the last line is partially preserved only upper parts of letters visible; the last two letters missing. To the right of the legend was an emblem in the form of a prora. Originally the first line contained the astynomic title; the second line contained the name of the astynomeus Delphios, expressed in the generic form; the third line is his patronymic; the fourth line contains the name of the manufacturer Agathon II, in the nominative. 2nd half of the 3rd century BC.
