Only fragments of the first and second lines of the legend have survived: the first line contained the astynomeus’s name; the second contained the patronymic and the title in abbreviated form; the third originally contained the manufacturer’s name, Kallisthenes. Sinopean amphora fragment, stamp; height 5.7 cm; findspot: Myrmekion Crimea., A triangular fragment of reddish-brown clay with a rough, pitted surface sits on a smooth gray background. The clay piece shows textured tool marks and indentations, with areas of darker speckling and small holes. Shadows fall beneath and to the left of the fragment, and the overall color palette includes reddish-brown, gray, darker brown specks, and muted shadow tones.
