Cow astragal condylo-talus bone from a cow, with a regular hole drilled in the center. Hellenistic period, 332–30 BC. Found at Myrmekion Crimea. Natural bone; height 4.2 cm., A worn, irregularly shaped object with a hole through its center sits against a plain gray background, showing a textured surface with cracks and smooth, rounded protrusions; the visible colors include dark gray, black, brown, and some lighter tan areas, with a glossy sheen in places and rougher, matte textures elsewhere.
