First line contains the astynomenic title; second and third lines contain the astynomeus' name and patronymic Posis, son of Stratonikos; fourth line contained the amphora manufacturer's name. To the right of the legend, aligned with the second and third lines, is an emblem of a helmeted head of Athena. Inscription reading Made when Posios son of Stratonicus was astynomeus. Date: 320–300 BC previously dated ca. 150–100 BC. Provenance: Sinope origin, found at Myrmekion Crimea. Stamp on amphora vice. Dimensions: height 7.2 cm, width 6 cm, depth 2.3 cm., A broken curved ceramic fragment with a rough, porous texture in shades of light tan and beige with small dark speckles, showing uneven, jagged edges and a slightly lighter interior surface, set against a neutral gray background.
